Entry Process

The CPhI Pharma Awards are open for pharmaceutical professionals working in innovative roles spanning the entire pharma industry. CPhI Worldwide 2014 exhibitors and visitors can enter free of charge.

Entries must be submitted using the appropriate application process by 22 August, 2014.

Shortlisting candidates

After the entry deadline, all entries are collated per category and sent over to the expert judging panel of the CPhI Pharma Awards. The judging panel will individually evaluate and score each entry.

During a meeting in a neutral location, the judging panel will discuss each entry and motivate their score, after which the shortlisted candidates are selected. All companies having submitted an entry will be notified of the decision regarding their entry shortly after this meeting.

Selecting a winner

Entries submitted for either of the following categories:

  • Innovation in Formulation
  • Innovation in Process Development
  • Innovation in Packaging

On the morning of October 7, the shortlisted companies will be asked to hold a presentation at a dedicated feature area on the show floor, for the judges and industry peers. After all shortlisted companies have presented their innovation, the judges will decide on the winners, who will be announced later that day.

Entries submitted for the Innovation in Partnering category
The shortlisted company entries will be published on the CPhI Pharma Awards website and in Pharmaceutical Outsourcing magazine. Website visitors and magazine readers will be invited to vote on their favorite story. Voting will close shortly before the event.
