Claris Lifesciences Receives MHRA Approval for New Plant


Claris Lifesciences Limited received approval for a new sterile injectables plant near Ahmedabad, India from the UK's Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The approval is for terminally sterilized products in glass ampoules manufactured on one line in the plant. This line is also capable of manufacturing aseptically sterilized products. The company plans to install a second line that will be capable of manufacturing lyophilized products and will be ready for commercial production by the end of 2014.
