Although CPhI, ICSE, InnoPak and and P-Mec won’t begin until 9 October, you can start your CPhI experience a day earlier on 8 October by attending the preshow Pre-Connect Conference. The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss the latest strategies in pharmaceutical development, manufacturing and partnering.

Different modules will be available throughout the conference, including generics and super generics; drug delivery systems, biosimilars and biobetters; API sourcing in emerging markets; strategic partnerships; and biomanufacturing.

Several speakers have already been confirmed, including Amer Alghabban, Director, Global Quality Assurance Auditing at Merck Serono, Danchen Gao, Director Intellectual Property Strategy at Abbott Laboratories, and Fidelma Callanan, Senior Director at Alkermes Contract Pharma Services.

The conference will be taking place at Feria de Madrid, the same location as CPhI.
