Long acting PLGA complex parenterals and IVIVC development
Wed, Mar 26, 2025 1:30 PM EDT{LOCAL_TZ}
Event Overview:
This webinar, after a brief presentation on Ascendia’s expertise and capabilities, will focus on poly(lactic-co-glycolic) acid (PLGA), a biocompatible polymer and its application in the development of long-acting injectables (LAI) with insight into the development of in vitro-in vivo correlations (IVIVCs) and in vitro-in vivo relationships (IVIVRs) for complex injectables. A well known speaker on the subject, Dr. Diane Burges, will take a deep dive in PLGA’s chemistry and its drug release phenomenon.
Key Learning Objectives:
Understand Ascendia’s expertise and capabilities
Gain insight into the complexity of PLGA when used to achieve long acting parenteral drug products.
Learn how PLGA polymer complexity affects drug release profiles
Dive into the development of IVIVCs and IVIVRs for complex parenterals
Who Should Attend:
