ReAgent Opens New Eco-Friendly Factory

ReAgent Chemical Services, a chemical manufacturing company, announced that it is tripling its manufacturing space with the opening of a new eco-friendly facility of 38,000 square foot. The new premises, located on 11b–13 Aston Fields Road in Runcorn’s Whitehouse Industrial Estate, has been built-to-spec to offer efficient, high quality, and environmentally friendly service to customers. ISO Environmental Standard accreditation has been obtained.

ReAgent stated that it has ensured that the new factory design incorporates eco-friendly features that will reduce their carbon footprint. LED lights have been fitted throughout the facility, as well as destratification fans that help to keep the temperature constant. All these features dramatically reduce annual energy consumption. The factory’s outdoor drainage system has also been modified with automatic detection that will identify any hazardous chemicals and immediately shut off the drains in the event of an accident. 

ReAgent has also taken into consideration the welfare of staff and clients, reflected in a larger office space, a break room where courier drivers can rest, and a new canteen. A passenger lift has been installed for those with accessibility requirements.
