Custom Lump Breaker for Effective Sifting

The rotary lump breaker unit from Ajax Equipment comprises a screw feeder with sifting screens and collecting conveyor for a gentle lump breaking action on pharmaceutical powders. Powder agglomerates enter the highly polished sifter from a feeding screw, where a rotating paddle forces the powder through the sifter grille and into a collecting conveyor. The sealed unit provides an effective sifting action and controlled feed for powders. The powder sifter is constructed from Hastelloy and is mounted on a portable frame. It is designed for clean-in-place with access nozzles situated throughout the unit.
