SALD-7500nano Expands Measurement of Nanoparticles
Shimadzu introduces the SALD-7500nano, a particle size analyzer that can measure nanoparticles in low concentrations or those that demonstrate high light absorption. The system is capable of a wide measurement range, from primary particles to sub-visible particles and contaminants, and allows measurements across a concentration range from 0.01 ppm to 20%. It enables measurement of micro bubbles from 100 nm to 60 μm and real-time tracking of changes in bubble diameter. The SALD-7500nano features a single light source and wide-angle detection method, allowing high-speed measurement to a minimum of one second and real-time display of particle size distribution at one-second intervals. The system uses an omnidirectional shock absorption frame to improve instrument stability and provide high reproducibility, while built-in self-diagnostic functions ensure easy maintenance.
