Travtec Pinhole Detector Increases Safety
Travtec’s Lixis MH Pinhole Detector for aluminum foil blister packs is designed to detect small pinholes and pores on Alu-Alu blister packs produced by cold forming. The detector is equipped with fail-safe technology; any malfunction in the system will cause the machine to stop and reject the blister.
To eliminate the risk of non-airtight sealing, infrared radiation is used to identify holes as small as 25 microns (0.001 inch). The detection system can inspect multiple areas of the foil at once, increasing efficiency and safety. Designed under cGMP requirements, the fully automatic, compact, and adjustable detector can be installed on any blister machine.
