Handling Difficult Powders in Solid-Dosage Manufacturing

Appropriate feeding equipment can be selected to meet the challenges of dosing powders that are sticky or do not flow well.

Sharon Nowak, business development manager at Coperion K-Tron Food & Pharmaceutical Industries, spoke with Pharmaceutical Technology about the challenges of feeding powders in pharmaceutical processes and the equipment available to feed difficult powders, including equipment for continuous manufacturing processes.
