Shimadzu’s LCMS-8060 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is designed for LC/MS/MS quantitation of highly sensitive applications.
Shimadzu’s LCMS-8060 triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is designed for LC/MS/MS quantitation of highly sensitive applications and can detect substances at ultra-trace levels as they occur in complex matrices or in small sample concentrations that must be diluted to avoid matrix effects. The newly developed UF-Qarray ion guide increases sensitivity by enhancing ion signal intensity and reducing noise. In addition, the LCMS-8060 has an increased data-acquisition scan speed of 30,000 u/sec and a polarity switching time of 5 msec. The faster polarity switching time maximizes dwell times and helps to optimize cycle time.
