Ross’ Laboratory Double Planetary Mixers process a variety of applications including viscous pastes, putty-like materials, powder blends, and granulations. The mixers are designed with two identical blades that rotate on individual axes while revolving around the vessel on a common axis. The mixers can be used for mixing shear-sensitive gels, fragile glass spheres, fiber-filled mixtures, and abrasive compounds.
Designed for production from one-half pint to five gallons, the mixers are available in standard, heavy-duty, explosion-proof, and sanitary models. Options include sight/charge ports, video cameras, helical high velocity blades, heating and cooling jacket, sidewall thermowell, cove plug valve, built-in vacuum pump, discharge system, and touchscreen controls.
