Crude2Pure - from raw material to pure powder
Shimadzu has introduced the new Crude2Pure platform for automated fraction purification and recovery in the form of highly pure powder. With Crude2Pure, it is possible to process the liquid sample fractions obtained from preparative HPLC in such a way as to generate high-purity powderized target compounds within a short period of time. With conventional methods, this is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process.
Modular design for high sample throughput
The Crude2Pure (C2P) consists of two systems:
High purity, high reproducibility and reliable workflow
With Crude2Pure, it only takes a few hours to obtain a highly purified powder that is free from solvent residues and that contains very little water from an HPLC fraction. The process is automated and is therefore highly reproducible. A simple user-interface and encoding of the cartridges for sample tracking supports the automation.
Crude2Pure is the ideal platform for the purification of drug candidates or pilot substances in the milligram range.
