The DuPont Qualicon RiboPrinter® microbial characterization system provides the speed, accuracy and resolution needed to identify bacteria and compare them at the strain level characterization, all in less than 8 hours.
The DuPont Qualicon RiboPrinter® microbial characterization system provides the speed, accuracy and resolution needed to identify bacteria and compare them at the strain level characterization, all in less than 8 hours. Now, 1,500 additional patterns have been added to the database, expanding identification capabilities to over 8,500 RiboPrint patterns or ‘fingerprints' of bacteria. This automated system is available in Europe, Canada and Australia alongside Oxoid products.
The DuPont Qualicon RiboPrinter® system rapidly identifies and characterizes micro-organisms. It can automatically process up to 8 bacterial isolates at one time, with results available in less than 8 hours from sample input.
Riboprinter provides a distinct, characteristic, genetic fingerprint or Riboprint pattern. Its built-in database provides accurate species-level identification, quickly and reliably. The fully automated process simplifies operator training and minimizes errors due to technique.
The system can accept new batches every two hours so you can load up to 32 samples in a normal working day.
Riboprinter automatically compares the RiboPrint generated for each new sample to patterns stored for all other samples on the database. In this way, the more you use the system, the more information you have about your own, unique microbial environment.
With a comprehensive, dynamic picture of your microbial environment, you can track and manage data at strain level, letting you pinpoint contamination with more speed, ease and precision than ever before.
With the RiboPrinter system, you can rapidly characterize and identify bacteria from raw material, final products or any portion of the production environment. The system can be used to save time and money in whatever area you’re working.
