GRAM Announces Expanded Disposable Capabilities

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing expands disposable technology capabilities at aseptic facility.

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) announced on Dec. 9, 2015, that the company has expanded disposable technology capabilities at its FDA-approved manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, MI.

According to a company press release, the disposable technology will offer customers cost and time savings, improved safety and quality standards, reduced process development timelines, and greater flexibility in process design process, and reduced client cross-contamination risks.

By utilizing disposable technology, the company can benefit from efficiency gains by reducing processing, cleaning, and prep time. Manufacturing downtime is also reduced due to the elimination of cleaning validation activities, the company reports.
