Charles River offers the Endosafe nexgen-PTS endotoxin testing system.

The Endosafe nexgen-PTS from Charles River is a point-of-use, handl-held spectrometer that uses disposable cartridges designed to provide real-time endotoxin testing. Quantitative LAL test results are available in 15 minutes, the company reports.

The unit provides endotoxin measurement, acceptance criteria and sample reaction data on a screen in real time. A touch screen LCD display can be use while wearing gloves. Features include automated barcode scanning; user management with three levels of user profiles and password protection; and Wi-Fi connectivity for remote printing. The nexgen-PTS combines Charles River’s FDA-licensed cartridges and USP/BET-compliant test, allowing for administration control.
