Kymos Acquires Italian Firm Pharmaprogress

Spanish CRO, Kymos Pharma Services, announced that it has acquired Pharmaprogress, an Italian firm based in Ancona, specializing in contract research and analysis services.

Spanish CRO, Kymos Pharma Services, announced that it has acquired Pharmaprogress, an Italian firm based in Ancona, specializing in contract research and analysis services. Pharmaprogress has a 700-m2 analysis laboratory that is GMP authorized by the Italian Medicines Agency. The company is expected to deliver a turnover of EUR1 million in 2017.
Founded in 2001, Kymos has since worked on expanding internationally. With the acquisition of Pharmaprogress, Kymos estimates that 50% of its business volume will be generated outside Spain. Kymos’ main markets are Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Portugal.
