The Spark 20M multimode microplate reader has the ability to read 6- to 1536-well microplates and includes a high-frequency xenon flash lamp that can be combined with detection modules. The unit also includes a fluorescence module designed to improve sensitivity and increase the speed of high-throughput screening. The reader includes the Te-Cool cooling module that allows the measurement chamber temperature to be set below the ambient room temperature.
The Spark 20M features automated cell imaging and confluence measurement, which allows incubation and monitoring of cell culture microplates within the measurement chamber. The user can define the confluence at which the assay starts or ends or the substrate is injected.
