Schreiner MediPharm Introduces New Labeling Solution for Illegal Container Reuse

The new Flexi-Cap Prime will be presented at CPhI Worldwide in Frankfurt, Germany, on Nov. 5–7.

Schreiner MediPharm, a pharmaceutical labeling company located in Germany, announced it will be presenting its new label-cap combination, the Flexi-Cap Prime, at CPhI Worldwide in Frankfurt, Germany, on Nov. 5–7. The new labeling solution aids in preventing illegal medicine container reuse with a clear, irreversible first-opening indication, according to an Oct. 10, 2019 press release.

The label comes equipped with a tear strip that runs through the film cap and label and, when opened at the starter tab, the tear strip destroys the cap and the label so reuse of the container is impossible, according to the release. The new label can also be applied without heat, and can be adapted to different container types, shapes, and sizes while the label’s design and the manufacturer’s brand appearance remains unchanged.

Schreiner MediPharm will be at Booth C45 at CPhI Worldwide.
