Copley Scientific Launches Products for Tablet Dissolution Testing

On July 7, 2016, Copley Scientific announced that it will be launching new tools for intrinsic dissolution testing. Copley’s Intrinsic Dissolution Kit, which complies with USP Chapter <1087>, includes six or eight 7mm diameter punch and die sets, and a hand-operated, two-ton press for controlled compression of the required compact.

According to Copley, the company has reduced the weight of the new testers by streamlining the physical dimensions of the equipment. The company also offers a slim-line base plate for a range of dissolution testers that minimizes the bench space occupied. The company plans to make similar expansions to its tablet testing equipment.
