Event Overview:
As the pharmaceutical industry places greater emphasis on patient-centric drug development, dosage form selection has become a powerful opportunity to improve the patient experience while differentiating products in an increasingly competitive market. Stick packs are emerging as an attractive oral dosage form for pediatric, precision dosing and convenience-driven therapies. Beyond portability and dosing flexibility, stick packs can enable advanced formulation strategies including taste masking, bioavailability enhancement and the delivery of high drug-load products.
This webinar will explore the development of stick pack formulations, from raw material and packaging material characterization through selection of suitable dosage form intermediates such as powders, granules, pellets and minitablets. Attendees will learn how material understanding and manufacturability assessments support robust product development, while tools such as offline dosing stations can help de-risk filling performance and reduce material consumption during development.
Attendees will also hear how the right operating model can be just as important as the right formulation. This webinar will demonstrate how an integrated single-campus approach, bringing drug product development, manufacturing, and packaging together helps accelerate timelines, reduce development risk and bring innovative oral therapies to patients faster.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Understand key formulation considerations for stick pack development
- Discover strategies to improve manufacturability and scalability
- Learn how stick packs support diverse patient needs
Who Should Attend:
- C-suite, Director, Managers in R&D, CMC, Formulation, Manufacturing, Operations
