Bag Dump Module for Bulk Solid Equipment
Munson Machinery introduced a new Bag Dump Module for installation on the lids of bulk solid mixers, blenders, size-reduction equipment, and storage vessels to maintain the dust produced when bulk materials are dumped manually.
Munson Machinery introduced a new Bag Dump Module for installation on the lids of bulk solid mixers, blenders, size-reduction equipment, and storage vessels to maintain the dust produced when bulk materials are dumped manually. The self-contained, stainless steel module features a dust hood with a hinged door, a blower that pulls airborne dust onto the outer surface of two PTFE one-micron pleated cartridge filters, and air nozzles that continually dislodge collected dust and return it to the vessel below.
Additionally, the module comes equipped with a removable, safety-interlocked access panel for inspection or replacement of the filters, an optional safety-interlocked grate that can be removed for access to the vessel’s interior, and pre-drilled flanges on the back and sides of the hood for efficient fastening to mixers, blenders, size reduction equipment, storage vessels, and other equipment. The module can also be mounted on a floor hopper to charge conveyors, or gravity discharge from mezzanines into process equipment or storage vessels.
