CPhI — a networking growth story...

It began as a pharma ingredients event, but CPhI Worldwide has effectively become the recognized annual meeting place in Europe covering interests right across the pharma services sector. This year, Milan's new Fiera Rho complex will host CPhI for the first time.

Today, alongside CPhI, the closely associated International Contract Services Exhibition (ICSE) and Pharmaceutical Machinery & Equipment Convention (P-MEC) events ensure that outsourcing and production technology also have an annual platform.

In combination, the three events deliver convenient, high-value networking opportunities with an audience of more than 22000 key players and 1750 exhibitors.

CPhI is the annual meeting place for pharmaceutical professionals. It's where:

  • Issues and information are discussed.

  • Business is created.

  • The brightest and the best congregate.

  • Intelligence gathers.

CPhI Worldwide brings together more than 1500 companies engaged in APIs, intermediates, excipients, and other fine and specialty chemicals. During the 3 days of the event, attendees from every sector and job discipline visit to explore, investigate and scrutinize the very latest technology and developments. Each of them is looking for the innovations that will make their businesses more productive, more cost-effective and more profitable. And every year they succeed.

Underlining the promotional theme of "New business growth from superior networking opportunities", there are two more country pavilions for 2007 — with Ireland and Switzerland joining Argentina, Brazil, China, France, India, Japan, South Korea, Portugal and the US.

More than 240 exhibitors chose ICSE 2006 in Paris (France) to showcase their outsourcing services to the pharmaceutical industry. They engaged in fruitful business relationships, made profitable deals and obtained valuable contracts. For them, ICSE was the right choice.

Ever since its inception in 2000, ICSE has steadily become the first and foremost event for a growing number of exhibitors and visitors to engage in pharmaceutical outsourcing and services business. ICSE offers its guests the room and opportunity to make the right choices.

For 2007, ICSE has taken another step forward, giving its exhibitors more room with three additional dedicated exhibition zones to choose from. Regardless of your field of expertise and your place in pharmaceutical outsourcing, ICSE has the perfect place for you to expose your business the way you choose.

Tuesday features a special Biotechnology event named BioTalk@CPhI/ICSE. This seminar embraces the combined strengths of the annual events; bringing pharmaceutical, biotechnology and outsourcing professionals together.

First introduced alongside the 2005 CPhI Worldwide event, P-MEC in Milan is more than double the size of last year's staging in Paris, and hosts approximately 65 exhibitors from Europe, America and Asia.

Pharma machinery, equipment and technologies are critical to meet the cost, regulatory and environmental challenges in making ever more complex healthcare products. P-MEC was created to meet the needs for a specific exhibition for these sectors, but with the critical mass and added networking value of the established CPhI brand.

Focused on the challenge of developing more efficient production routes and systems, it typically showcases machinery, plant/facility equipment, instrumentation, filtration systems, automation and packaging.
