Evonik Launches New Ready-To-Use Powder Premix Blend

The new premix can be used with tablets and a range of other solid oral dosage forms.

On Oct. 27, 2020, Evonik introduced the Eudragit IR ReadyMix White, a new ready-to-use powder premix blend of its Eudragit functional polymers used for oral products with an immediate release profile.

The new premix can be used with tablets and a range of other solid oral dosage forms and can be processed at half the time of HPMC or PVA-based ready-to-use alternatives because of its high solid content and low processing temperature, a company press release said. It also features a high-gloss coating and can be used to optimize the processability, appearance, taste, and swallowability of drug products.
