The GEMU 567 BioStar® Control Valve is designed to precisely control low flow rates of high purity fluids or gaseous media required in the pharmaceutical, biotech, health care, and food & beverage industries.
Features:
- Extremely compact design
- Sizes ¼”- ¾”
- ASME BPE tube weld and hygienic clamp ends
- Body wrought 316L stainless steel (ASTM A479) / (1.4435 BN2) with controlled sulfur .005 - .017%, others available upon request
- Surface finishes 20 Ra mechanical (SF1), 20 Ra electro-polish (SF5), and 15 Ra electro-polish (SF4)
- Manual or pneumatically operated
- Autoclavable
- Available with either linear or equal % flow characteristics
- Cv range .09 to 4.8 gpm
- Operating pressures 0 – 150 psig
- Operating temperatures 14° - 320° F
- Self-draining design for Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems
- Optional by-pass provides high flow velocities to facilitate cleaning
- Valve integration into custom block designs
- FDA CFR 177.1550 (PTFE), 177.2600 (Elastomers), and USP Class VI, <87>, <88> compliance
- 3A Certification available
- Animal Derived Component Free (ADCF)
