LED Light Source Maximizes Convenience

Anton Paar’s MCP polarimeters are now designed with a new LED light source and optional integrated air pump to clean and dry sample cells. Each single-wavelength model (100,000 hours lifetime at sodium D wavelength) comes with a long-life phosphor-coated LED. The LED light sources are designed to exceed the intensity of Tungsten halogen lamps, allowing the polarimeter to measure samples up to the same optical density of four. The polarimeters can be equipped with an air pump to prevent contamination in the cell by discharging the previous sample or by drying the inside before introducing the product, with no disassembly required.
