Manual Colony Counter for Automatic Count Recording
The aCOLade 2 Manual Colony Counter from Synbiosis includes automatic count recording.
The aCOLade 2 Manual Colony Counter from Synbiosis includes automatic count recording. The counter has a LED light pad with pressure-controlled back plate and, a dish adaptor that can hold 50 mm or 90 mm diameter plates. The light pad comes with a black background to assist in viewing translucent colonies, Wolfhuegel graticules to track count areas, and the option to add a magnifying lens over the pad. These features allow microbiologists to view small colonies, and distinguish between debris or bubbles in the media. The aCOLade 2 can be connected via USB cable to a tablet, PC, or printer. Data are instantly recorded, which reduces the risk of keying errors.
