With a PhD in water-soluble polymers for advanced drug administration and a master's degree in polymer chemistry from the University of Louvain, Belgium, Bram Jongen brings extensive expertise to his role. Starting 20 years ago as a technical support manager at Datwyler, he rose to lead the Global Product Introduction and Support team, specializing in pharmaceutical closures and developing deep knowledge in extractables and leachables. He then served as head of R&D for Datwyler's Healthcare division (2013-2020), driving innovation in rubber and coating materials. Currently, as vice president of materials and surface technologies, he oversees development across multiple Datwyler sectors.
