The Double Planetary Mixer from ROSS is suitable for high-precision mixing, granulation, and vacuum drying all in one.
The Double Planetary Mixer from ROSS is suitable for high-precision mixing, granulation, and vacuum drying all in one. The vessel blends powders and granules with two rectangular planetary blades that rotate on their own axes as well as rotating around the mixing zone on a common axis. The mixer is equipped with atomizing spray nozzles for the controlled and spill-free addition of liquid raw materials as the mixing blades help maintain composition and temperature throughout the batch. This design results in shortened drying times in comparison to non-vacuum granulators and dryers.
Optional features include flush discharge plugs or valves, covers for use with the portable mix vessels during transport, and controls to integrate the mixer with auxiliary equipment including vacuum pumps, heating and cooling units, and load cells.
