The Viscometer CL-10DV for inclusion from Dynatrol consists of a viscometer, a viscosity probe, and a digital converter series that operate in several conditions for a variety of applications, including pharmaceutical chemicals, oil mixtures, and propylene glycol-based fluids, etc.
The wear-free viscometer uses a vibratory principle to provide continuous measurement at on-line process conditions, eliminating the need for sampling. Additionally, the viscosity probe operates in ranges up to 100,000 centipoise, has a standard pressure rating of 1000 PSI, and a standard temperature rating of 300 °F. The probe is CSA NRTL/C approved for Class 1, Group D, Division 1 and is available in stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant materials. The digital converter series 3000 accepts information from the probe, calculates the viscosity of the liquid under test, and displays the viscosity in standard units. The digital converter is microprocessor-based with noise immunity for harsh industrial environments.
