Wrap-around Labeler with Continuous Labeling Capabilities

HERMA US announced it now includes continuous labeling capabilities for its 132M HC Wrap-around Labeler. By installing two new modules, the EasySplicer and the EasyCutter, the device now allows for label and backing paper reels to be changed or disposed of without production interruption, which is ideal for the 132M HC as it requires replacement every 10 minutes.

The EasySplicer comes equipped with a label buffer so the machine will continue to run as it reaches the end of a label web, allowing the user to execute the splicing process so the new label web is spliced to the fixed web before the buffer runs out. In addition, the EasyCutter has the ability to vacuum up the empty backing paper and chop it up for easy recycling, eliminating the need for manual removal of rewinded backing paper.
