At CPhI Worldwide 2016, Colorcon will showcase products and processes including the Opadry QX, a tablet film coating designed to meet the manufacturing efficiency needs of the industry. The system can be applied over a broad range of process conditions, even those containing temperature-sensitive active ingredients.
The company also recently announced the opening of a new facility in Latin America. Scheduled to open in January 2017, the new facility in Indaiatuba, Brazil is the first production plant in the region, the eleventh around the world, and the seventh dedicated exclusively to film coatings. Colorcon has also added manufacturing capacity for Suglets sugar spheres.
