Metrics Contract Services announces the completion of a $10 million expansion to their Greenville, NC facilities.
On July 29th, 2021, oral solid dosage contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) Metrics Contract Services announced the completion of an expansion of their Greenville, NC facilities. Totaling $10 million, this expansion consists of three new rooms.
The new rooms are a flex room, a combination dispensing/flex room, and a dedicated suite to house a newly commissioned Fette FE55 contained tablet press. Each room also has separate personnel and equipment airlocks, low-wall HEPA filter exhausts, and fogging showers.
“This trio of rooms will enable us to further tailor equipment trains to the applicable process, particularly those that require smaller batch sizes,” said John Ross, president of Mayne Pharma US and Metrics Contract Services, in a company press release. “Our clients will see immediate benefits through greater flexibility and improved potent handling.”
