Ology Bioservices, a biologics contract development and manufacturing organization based in Frederick, MD, announced on Aug. 26, 2020 that it has been contracted by the US Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland to manage the production capacity of approximately 186,840,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics.
The contract is valued at $106.3 million and is supported by Operation Warp Speed, a company press release said.
“Along with producing vaccines and monoclonal antibodies to eventually combat the spread of COVID-19, the team at Ology Bioservices is very proud to support the fill and finishing network as needed by Operation Warp Speed,” said Peter H. Khoury, PhD, president and CEO of Ology Bioservices, in the press release.
