Terracon Corporation unveiled a line of turnkey, magnetic-drive plastic mixing systems for applications within pharmaceutical markets. The systems are fully customizable and formulated for precise development and production processes.
Designed with low shear to protect pharmaceutical products, the system’s raised Zero-g mix head hovers vertically on a magnetic cushion, eliminating mechanical seals, acting as a shock absorber for the mixer to reduce the risk of particle shedding, and providing the highest level of aseptic design. The mixer’s polypropylene construction and mix head are USP Class VI-, FDA-, and GMP-compliant and provide 100% non-metallic surface contact. The mixing systems are available in 50L, 400L, and 1000L sizes and are now available for order. The systems are available in 50L, 400L, and 1000L sizes.
