Primera Technology Introduces Signature Slide and Cassette Printers

The printers can print text, graphics, logos, and 2D bar codes directly onto slides and cassette.

Primera Technology introduced its Signature Slide and Cassette Printers with integrated PTLab software for increasing lab efficiency and reducing the risk of specimen misidentification.

According to a July 13, 2020 press release, the printers can print text, graphics, logos, and 2D bar codes directly onto slides and cassette. The devices also include:

  • On-demand, black or color printing
  • Small footprints
  • Reduced inventories and purchasing activity
  • Thermal-transfer printing at high-resolution, 300 dpi
  • On-demand or batch mode printing
