Bormioli Pharma at CPhI Worldwide 2018

Bormioli Pharma, a provider of integrated glass and plastic containers, closures, and accessories for packaging, will showcase products at CPhI Worldwide 2018 at booth 4C20, from Oct. 9–11, 2018.

Bormioli Pharma, a provider of integrated glass and plastic containers, closures, and accessories for packaging, will showcase products at CPhI Worldwide 2018 at booth 4C20, from Oct. 9–11, 2018 in Madrid, Spain.

Among the products that will be displayed is AccuRec, a dual-chamber system created to offer a safe, easy way to reconstitute a range of oral medicines. The company reports that the AccuRec system transforms the traditional method for reconstituting oral drugs, allowing for a more precise and effective procedure that maximizes drug stability.

Management will also be at the booth to meet with stakeholders and discuss the company’s growth plans and innovative projects. According to the company, it aims to expand its geographical reach and invest in current commercial offerings by entering new business segments, upgrading technology and growing production capacity as well as reorganizing facilities to achieve maximum efficiency. 

The company states that its five-year strategic plan includes an investment program developed to support the firm’s internationalization project. The project focuses on penetration of the United States pharmaceuticals market, the implementation of a new innovation model, the construction of a new furnace to produce soda lime-glass, efficiency enhancement of its existing platform, and increased productivity.
