The CPhI event, which was originally scheduled for May 5–7, 2020 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, will be rescheduled for Sept. 9–11, 2020 at the same venue.

CPhI North America, organized by Informa Markets, announced on March 12, 2020 that the CPhI event, which was originally scheduled for May 5–7, 2020 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, will be rescheduled for Sept. 9–11, 2020 at the same venue. The decision was made after it was determined many of the exhibiting companies would be unable to travel to the United States because of the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, an Informa press statement said.

“Rescheduling the event for a new date means we will be able to continue to offer our visitors and exhibitors a high-quality business event worth attending,” the CPhI North America Team said in the press statement. “This decision has not been taken lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this will cause for you. We trust that you understand that we made this decision in the best interests of all our customers and partners.”

The announcement comes just weeks after Informa postponed two other CPhI events due to the virus, CPhI South East Asia, which was rescheduled for July 1–3, 2020 at the IMPACT Center in Bangkok, Thailand, and CPhI Japan, who’s new dates have not been released.
