DuPont to Highlight Newly Combined Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Portfolios

During CPhI Worldwide 2018 in Madrid, Spain, DuPont will showcase fully integrated pharmaceutical and healthcare portfolios, combining those of DuPont Nutrition & Health, Dow Pharma Solutions, and FMC Health and Nutrition. The unified drug delivery solutions will include oral solid dosage, topical and transdermal applications, and will all be available for event attendees to view at Stand 8F60.

“This integrated business brings together decades of industry expertise and proven technologies across a broad range of dosage formats to offer our customers a one-stop shop of solutions for their drug delivery needs,” said Angela Strzelecki, global business director, Pharma at DuPont Nutrition & Health, in a press release. “We are committed to building upon our innovative portfolio to help customers continue to meet changing regulatory and formulation challenges.” 

Through the combined portfolios, customers will have access to innovative solutions for solubility enhancement, improved release profiles, and optimal topical and transdermal applications. The portfolio of ingredients and excipients offer rapid disintegration and dissolution, solubility enhancement, immediate release, controlled release, increased efficiency and enhanced sensory aesthetics, and optimal adhesion properties.

The company’s biopharma team will also be showcasing solutions aimed at advancing end-to-end purity, reliability, and security in biopharmaceutical processing at the inaugural bioLIVE event.

Additionally, DuPont will be presenting during the show, including sponsorship and keynote address at the Women in Leadership Forum (Oct. 10, 8:00–10:10am), discussions on ‘Expertise in Drug Delivery and Formulations’ and ‘Quality by Design’ in CPhI Theatre on Oct. 9, 4:30–5:00pm and Oct. 10, 11:10–11:40am, respectively, and in the bioLIVE Insights Theatre on Oct. 9 at 12:00–12:30pm there will be a presentation on ‘Purity Testing of Silicone Tubing for Biopharmaceutical Applications’.
