Essential Tips for ACHEMA

Five days may seem like a long time for a trade show, but you may in fact find yourself struggling to fit everything into your trip. ACHEMA’s congress programme includes more than 900 lectures from across the process industries!

Other advice
The PTE team have visited ACHEMA on several occasions. Our advice: make sure you have a good pair of shoes because this trade show is enormous! Germany can also get quite hot in June so you may want to bear this in mind when packing your suitcase. It’s also a good idea to have a bottle of water with you, particularly as you don’t always have time between business meetings to stop for a cup of coffee.
Expectations
The last ACHEMA show, held in 2009, saw 3767 exhibitors and more than 173000 participants. This year’s show is expected to be even bigger! The fastest growing exhibition groups are measurement, control and automation, and pharmaceutical, packaging and storage techniques.
