ACG Group introduced the GT 1600 X.ONE, a line of integrated granulation equipment designed for high-volume batch production.
ACG Group introduced the GT 1600 X.ONE, a line of integrated granulation equipment designed for high-volume batch production. The new equipment line is a combination of the company’s HSM 2000 X.ONE high shear mixer and FBE 1800 X.ONE fluid bed units, which has enhanced the efficiency, production space, processing time, and yield of the new system.
The GT 1600 X.ONE comes equipped with a Z-shaped impeller for optimal material flow and content uniformity of the granulation. Additionally, a compressed air system assists with effective discharge and cleanability by improving the consistency of the discharge valve seal, while a bag-type mechanical shaking filter on the fluid bed provides effective product retention and higher yields. The transfer of wet granulated material into the fluid bed is moved through a tangential charge port to ensure a consistently repeatable drying operation.
