Innovations on Display at ACHEMA
Hundreds of cutting-edge systems for the pharma industry will be on display in Frankfurt. We?ve compiled a huge list of some of the companies and their innovations that will be on show.

AM Technologies will be present with its coflore large and lab-scale continuous reactors.

Low-cost disposable contained powder transfer systems will be on show.
Hall 3.0 Stand D3
Bausch+Ströbel is exhibiting a cross-section of their large range of products for dispensing and packaging liquid and powder pharmaceutical products. On the one hand machines for laboratory purposes are on display and at the other end of the spectrum are high-capacity machines.

At Achema 2012, Bosch Packaging Technology highlights the sale of its 100th isolator and the introduction of its new Fast Air Lock ISS 1000, designed for fast transfer of pharmaceutical equipment into and out of isolators.
Hall 4.2 Stand E64
Brookfield will exhibit its CT3 Texture Analyzer, Powder Flow Tester, DV-II+Pro EXTRA Viscometer, R/S Plus Rheometer, DV-IIIUltra Rheometer, DVIPrime Viscometer and Brookfield’s New Series of Temperature Baths.

The company will be exhibiting its HPLC systems, ion chromatography systems and UV/visible spectrophotometers.

The IMA Group will exhibit new solutions for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Hall 4.0 Stand F44
At ACHEMA 2012, the company will show some highlights of its range of technology for continuous processing, containment and compression. It will also be launching its revolutionary concept of ConsiGma for direct compression that enables the continuous production of tablets direct from powders without prior granulation.

K-Tron will display its powder and bulk material handling equipment, including single/twin screw feeders, pneumatic conveying loaders and receivers, rotary airlocks, slide gates, and other material handling and feeding systems.

In a showcase of 500 square meters, the Group will exhibit 17 machines with leading-edge solutions for all types of products from the world of pharmaceutics.

A variety of innovations will be on show including the further development of the Müller Containment Valve MCV (new, modular locking device which is completely closed and low-wear, new box for automatised exchange of active valve for cleaning purposes), the Mobile Bag Filling station (to fill a predefined volume of liquids into plastic bags) and a small and simple drum washing machine DCM.
Booth IMA S.P.A., Hall 3, Booth F49
The STYL’One Evolution will be on display. This new integrated research press starts fully instrumented with a single layer version and an analytical software package; and is upgradable to multilayer. Tab-in-Tab and full automated research as well as a full production software with weight regulation and stearate spray spraying can be added.

The company will feature active product demonstrations of the TepoFlex biocontainers, in sizes ranging from 50 mL – 1,000 L, for a variety of pharmaceutical and biomanufacturing applications.

A variety of technologies will be on display including tablet compression tooling, tablet press replacement parts and turrets, laboratory tablet press, laser punch inspection device and tool management software, and tablet compression accessories.
Hall 3.0 Stand A73
Many systems will be on show. A complete Optima line for vials encompasses all process steps from unpacking to tray loading of processed vials. Isolators and the freeze drying process are also components of the line. A 100% IPC and the stopper re-setting process maximises product usage. The M+P isolator uses H2O2 to sterilise the machine cabin. With the use of catalytic aeration, considerably shorter sterilisation cycle times can be achieved. Vials are transferred via a turntable to one of six Klee freeze dryers to achieve the most flexible loading configurations. A combination crimp cap and coding machine, final tray loading and numerous inspections complete the Optima equipment.
Hall 3.0 Stand A71
rommelag will be exhibiting the flagship model of its current product portfolio, the BFS bottelpack 324 aseptic machine for manufacturing IV solutions (LVP), in hourly demonstrations at the ACHEMA Trade Fair. Because it is servo-driven without the use of hydraulics, this new generation of BFS aseptic machines provides numerous advantages during operation and maintenance, in addition to higher equipment availability and increased production efficiency.

Sepha will launch two new quality control machines at ACHEMA. The launch will provide customers with updated and more cost-competitive equipment for the non-destructive leak detection of blister packs, (BlisterScan) and for de-blistering of product from child resistant packs, (Press Out Universal).
Hall 3.1 Stand C49
Telstar will be present at Achema with its latest innovative solutions (equipment and critical facilities) for the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industry and research centers. For the first time, together with KeyPlants, Telstar will exhibit a complex modular installation for sterilization of biopharmaceutical products, which is part of a biotech facility for cell-culture production.

The company introduces at ACHEMA the all-new Thomas Flex 100; a fully integrated recipe-driven pilot scale coating system with exchangeable drums. The Flex 100 is the newest addition to the already successful Thomas Flex product line which offers a full range of tablet coating solutions; from the high capacity Thomas Flex CTC Continuous Tablet Coater featuring the industry’s leading 100 kg to 4000 kg/h. throughput, the innovative Flex 500 batch tablet coater with exchangeable drums and the Flex 05 sub-kilogram Bench Top R&D coating system.
