Marchesini Displays CMP Pharma Inspection System at INTERPHEX

The Marchesini Group will introduce the CMP pharma inspection system to the US market at INTERPHEX 2019.

The Marchesini Group, which acquired CMP PHAR.MA in December, 2018, will introduce the CMP pharma inspection system to the US market at INTERPHEX 2019. CMP specializes in pharmaceutical inspection systems for ampules, vials, and syringes. SEA Vision, which is another partner in the Marchesini Group, co-participated in the CMP transaction, according to the Dec. 10, 2018 press release.

The CMP SA12J machine is an automatic inspection machine designed to perform visual inspection of prefilled syringes. This compact unit reaches a speed of up to 200 pieces per minute. It is also possible to combine it with a leak test unit to check containers' integrity.

The Group will also display the RE 202 rotary labeler developed by Neri, Marchesini’s  division specializing in the production of labelling machines. The design of the RE 202 offers versatility in processing bottles made of a variety of materials (glass, plastic, and metal) and of different shapes (cylindrical, truncated cone, oval). The machine can process up to 200 containers per minute.

Also on display will be the Track Pack, a new, all-in-one solution for serialization, tamper-evident, and aggregation needs. The system combines the BL A415 labeller and the PS 300 case packer in a compact, automated machine.
