The DF30Plus, a new version of Aptar Pharma’s aerosol metering valve for pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDIs), incorporates an elastomeric cyclic-olefin-copolymer (COC) neck gasket.
The DF30Plus, a new version of Aptar Pharma’s aerosol metering valve for pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDIs), incorporates an elastomeric cyclic-olefin-copolymer (COC) neck gasket. COCe is a specific version of COC, used for injectable drug containers. The new version of DF30Plus, which incorporates a neck gasket manufactured with COCe, offers several key benefits, including: improved barrier to leakage; ultra-low extractable level; compatibility across a wider range of drug formulations, including ethanol-containing formulations; suitability for all pMDI filling technologies; and robust design for accurate and consistent performance.
