Beckman Coulter Life Sciences announced that its MET ONE 3400+ portable air particle counter is now available for cleanroom compliance.
The particle counter allows users to import their standard operating procedure routine environmental monitoring maps and sampling configurations into the counter, which reduces human error and can improve data integrity, according to the company. The electronic records are then reviewed and approved through a web browser and exported via the Ethernet.
After the sampling reports are electronically signed by on-site monitoring professionals, the reports are exported to the customer’s network or to a USB device. No external software is needed to use the instrument, and facility managers have constant access to their environmental monitoring data, including all sample results and alarms.
