Safic-Alcan Presents Portfolio of APIs and Excipients
The company has exclusive distribution agreement for a range of APIs such as cafféine, mometasone furoate, diclofenac sodium, sodium valproate, and esomeprazole magnesium dehydrate. Its portfolio of excipients includes release agents, direct compression agents, and matrix agents.

Safic-Alcan, a specialty chemicals distributor is presenting its portfolio of APIs and excipients at CPhI Worldwide 2015. The company has exclusive distribution agreement for a range of APIs such as cafféine, mometasone furoate, diclofenac sodium, sodium valproate, and esomeprazole magnesium dehydrate. Its portfolio of excipients includes release agents, direct compression agents, and matrix agents.
Safic-Alcan’s Chinese subsidiaries, Bim Sifram Group and Sichuan Huafamei, dedicated for the sourcing and distribution of Chinese APIs, are present at the company’s booth (8B60) as well. Both subsidiaries offer a range of services from quality assurance, regulatory affairs and audits, to analytical control and technology transfer while holding exclusive distribution agreements for progesterone, cyanocobalamin, fluorogestone acetate, altrenogest, oxyclosanide, and tiamuline, among others. According to the company, its team of expert chemical engineers, dedicated to the sourcing of APIs and excipients, will also be present at the booth.
Safic-Alcan has recently concluded a European distribution agreement with Innophos Nutrition to sell chelated minerals, specialty ingredients, and botanicals & enzymes. Most of these ingredients are being presented at CPhI.
