SP Scientific Launches HT Series 3i Evaporators

The updated HT Series 3i Evaporators from SP Scientific are designed to boost evaporation and lyophilization results while remaining environmentally friendly and maintaining high-throughput and speed.

According to a company press release, the evaporators include Dri-Pure anti-bumping technology to prevent foaming and bumping from causing cross-contamination and sample loss, while their dry vacuum pumps and -75-°C auto-defrost and draining condensers guarantee controlled evaporation of all sample types.

The evaporators come equipped with sample holders for tubes, vials, flasks, and 96 well plates, and space for hydrochloric acid resistance, inert gas purge, and exalt-controlled crystallization, making them well-matched to corrosive acids, explosive solvents, and common organic solvents. They also include touchscreen controls, automatic programming, and a new door actuator for error-free access.

SP Scientific announced the launch of the new evaporators on Jan. 6, 2020.
