Trends in Pharmaceutical Capsules

ACG Worldwide discusses current and future uses of capsules in a video interview with Pharmaceutical Technology.

Ajit Singh, chairman of ACG Worldwide, spoke with Pharmaceutical Technology at INTERPHEX 2015 about trends in pharmaceutical capsules. Innovations include printing on the capsule as an anticounterfeiting measure and use of additional physical forms, such as liquids and pastes, inside capsules. In the future, large-molecule, biological products could be found in capsules, Singh predicts.
