Consort Medical Completes Acquisition of Aesica

Consort announced that it has completed the acquisition of Aesica.

Consort announced that it has completed the acquisition of Aesica. According to the press release, this move is in line with Consort’s strategy to diversify its offerings and expand into adjacent drug/device markets.

The agreement to acquire Aesica was first announced at the end of September 2014. Established in 2004, Aesica provides contract development and manufacturing services for finished pharmaceutical dosage forms and APIs.

Capitalized terms have been defined in Part XVIII of the combined shareholder prospectus and circular published on 30 September 2014.
