CPhI Worldwide partners with InformEx to introduce the cGMP Zone, a dedicated zone for pharma buyers to connect to cGMP CRO/CMO services, intermediates, APIs, and process chemical technologies.
CPhI Worldwide has partnered with InformEx 2015 to bring this year’s attendees the cGMP Zone. InformEx 2015, which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, Feb. 3–5, will feature a dedicated zone that will be focused on connecting pharmaceutical buyers with cGMP CRO/CMO services, intermediates, APIs, and process chemical technologies.
CPhI decided to launch the cGMP Zone to extend its reach into the American pharma market. InformEx Brand Director Robyn Duda spoke with pharmaceutical professionals who expressed the desire for greater pharma resources at the yearly event. CPhI and InformEx have partnered together to create a new business platform for the benefit of the pharma industry.
According to a press release released by CPhI, 35% of exhibitors at InformEx work within CRO/CMO and pharma outsourcing services. Introducing a dedicated place for attendees to meet at the event is expected to increase the amount of CRO/CMO exhibitors. CPhI sees this dedicated zone as the perfect opportunity to connect European and American pharma economies.
“The addition of a dedicated cGMP Zone at InformEx will bring the World’s leading pharma event brand directly to the World’s largest pharma economy … many of our exhibitors have long sought a platform regionally in the USA to help them source new business contacts,” said Chris Kilbee, group director, CPhI, in a press release.
