Enhanced Sterility Testing Device

The Steritest NEO device from MilliporeSigma provides safer pharmaceutical product testing through additional features.

The Steritest NEO device from MilliporeSigma provides safer pharmaceutical product testing. This fourth-generation unit includes improved ergonomics, easy-to-open accessory bags; 25-mL gradation mark for accurate pre-wetting step measurement; colored clamps to differentiate media filling; clearer labeling with colors, drawings, and barcodes for easy identification; and peel and stick labels for improved traceability.

According to the company, these improvements do not change the materials that come into contact with the tested fluid or in performance specification. The devices are supplied with certificates of quality, and the membrane and canisters undergo strict integrity and microbiological tests.

The product was launched on Dec. 17, 2018.
